The reason you see so many high dollar bikes (and have for the last couple months) is the incentives eBay has had for Power Sellers and breaks on listing fees. I rotate 20-30 of my complete bikes that I have no need to sell, only because the listing fee on a 30 day fixed price auction (even if I start it at $10,000) is only 35 cents. I can think of about 25 bikes that I had no plans on selling, where someone hit BIN when I had them on for one of the eBay specials and I had no problem shipping them off if someone were willing to pay my BIN price

eBay fees are pretty high, but if I can get all of those hits for a whopping 35 cents, odds are the buyers/lookers will hit the "Seller's Other Items" button and end up buying something I really wanted to sell.
