"Circa 1984" Hornets Nest Park Charlotte, NC. If you raced twenty local races you got your choice of any frame/fork being made at that time. Think it had to be stock, no custom jobs. I only recall one guy getting a Quad, weren't they the most expensive f/f then? I got talked into getting a Patterson (mistake). Now I think would have got a Skyway or the smoke chrome Mongoose Pro Class. What about the Sting, were those still available then? Well it was fun that last race when they all got handed out.

i wish they did that at my track......jmc,cw,robinson.

I'd probably get a CW, Skyway, or Kuwahara E.T.

How much were fees?! That had to be a hard way to make money at the track!
hiatt
It was $5 each race. The guy that did this I'm not sure if he was the new TO or someone the TO knew but that he had connections with nascar and plenty of money. Not sure the exact number of f/f's they had to get but don't think it was over 100.

Also interesting if I remember correctly they had both sanctions operateing at the track. NBL raced on Sat. (frame deal) and ABA raced Sun. Must have been some competition with that going on.

JMC Darrell Young or Skyway TA...or Mongoose Pro Class

The problem would be trying to decide which one out of those three.

What a great program. I would have gone with a Vector Mark 2.
