Got any pics? I still ride my '97 LTS-4 which might have been the low end model but it rides awesome still.

I picked up this '96 LTS-2 a week or so ago....

It rides really well for an old FS, (old is relative though as it's my most modern MTB).

you lucky dog, I hand rebuilt mine daily to get the best out of her, using Phils oil/grease everytime...that thing would gooble up cables/pads/grips/chains...damn I love it, I used to ride the area around UNBC (Prince George, BC), and ran into alot of wild life.... ;-)

no really I hit a black bear, like right in the side, (luckily?!?) I summersaulted over the bear still holding my bike, and continued over the edge of a loose pebble cliff/hill/mountain? err its a ways up as you can see...

well I rolled with my bike over and over, and then landed at the bottom wheels up...crappy thing was, to get first aid, I had to ride back UP the stupid hill...I bled every step...not alot, but you guys know what its like to look at an injury, shrug, pick up your baby, and start walking to the nearest Hospital eh? oh ya, when I looked up the bear was looking down at me, kinda swiping the dirt along the edge, huffing and puffing...I was more mad than scared and I was yelling up at it, shaking my fist, I think some people who stopped to watch, thought I was insane...;-)

I bent that GT on that bear, and sold it for 650 to a friend, who rode it till it broke, then got it re-welded, gave it to his son, his son re-broke it, and there she lies, broken and happy, cause she RODE!

now I have 2 RTS-3's on order, and I wouldn't mind LTS either...same thing to me..gt's a gt.
