Does anyone from So Cal remember B.S. Bikes? It was a small shop on Harbor Blvd is Santa Ana Ca. It was owned by Brian Scura. The same guy who now owns SST. I worked for him back in 1980/81 building wheels for Laguna, Cook Bros and for GT Bicycles.
I rode a 26" GT Bmx cruiser. It was painted blue. The first painted 26" Cruiser by the way. It had Landing Gear forks. Cook Cruiser bars, Oakley 3 grips, Tuff neck, Takagi 180 mm Cromo cranks, KKT Pedals, MX 1000 brakes, Gold Araya 7X rims with Campy high flange hubs with track axles. It had the first set of 26" rims laced up with the BS race lace later known as the GT super lace.
I sure miss that bike. It was stolen from me at a Jack in the box in Garden Grove. Never to be found

Yep, Brian used to drop gates for us in the alley behind his shop.
