If you know Kit Nickel (Towerguy), you already know he's a great guy and none of this will be a surprise to you. He had a Kappa 24" Z frameset that he was thinking about selling. I had told him how much I missed my old Kappa Z cruiser and that I would love to buy his if I could find the $$$. I've had my hours cut at work and bicycles have had to move down my list of priorities, so the Kappa would have to wait. I've tried selling a few things to come up with the money, but I told him if someone else wants to buy it and has the money, feel free to sell it.

Anyway, long story short, the Kappa K24 Z cruiser frame and fork, along with a few extras, showed up at my door last week. Inside was an adoption sheet saying the Kappa now belonged to me. Needless to say, this kind gesture took me by surprise. I can't thank Kit enough for this gift. I'm going to show my appreciation by building a kick-[please review the site FAQs] Kappa cruiser as money permits.

These are the kinds of friends you can make here on VBMX. I don't call Kit my friend because he gave me a bicycle, I call him my friend because he is a high quality individual.

As I said before, if you know Kit this probably doesn't surprise you at all.

I don't care if this is the correct forum for this topic, I wanted it to be seen by all.

I got my PK Kappa from him. He wanted to buy me lunch at Quaker Steak&Lube for having to wait around 20 minutes for him to get there. I refused the free lunch, couse he was a great guy,and gave more than the auction had in it
