Intro:
Crazy?
Hahahaha
Dang
So I gotta call the other number, find out when they're, what, how much
it is to get in there
hmmm
Probably five dollars, find out where it's at
I don't know if they're gonna have a band there tomorrow night, somebody
popular, you know 'cause the Village People are popular
Yeah
Or they used to be
Well I don't know what this [I tried to curse] thing is I think it's a
Revolting Cocks Hahahaha
I think it's a um it's a, a male strip show, dance show
yeah
male strippers
hmm
I have to call 'em and ask 'em, what is that...what'd they call it?
The Revolting Cocks
Okay, hahaha, oh lord, okay well I, you have fun tonight,
okay, if y'all get a chance, come out
okay
alright
alright? goodbye

Minds are empty, heads are hollow.
You might find out the truth is hard to swallow.
Thereīs a place down there, where heads are square.
Laws are tough and you are bare.
There is a law and there is a lawman.
Who is the right, and who is the wrong man.
It doesn't take much to kill a guy.
Donīt get in my face and ask me why...
Texas is the place...
HANGīEM HIGH!

Beers, steers, and queers
Cowboy
Beers, steers, and queers
Whee-haw!

Texas is full of women and willies
Eyes too close, filthy hillbillies
Who are these people, sex in barns
Texas hoedown, this is the lowdown
Youīre full of shizzle, destined to go down
Letīs go down and herd īem up
If you agree, let's wordīem up
And if you donīt...
THEN SHUT THE [I tried to curse] UP!

Beers, steers, and queers (x2)
Whee-haw!

Iīve spent my life, go kicking shizzle
Not gonna give up, ainīt about to quit.
Life is a bucket of bluff
Getting rough, feeding stock
Get in my way...
I'LL KNOCK YOU OFF!

Beers, steers, and queers
Cowboy
Beers, steers, and queers
Whee-haw!
Beers, steers, and queers
Cowboy
Beers, steers, and queers

Iīm a crazy mother in a drunken stat
A redneck asswipe who thinks heīs great
So full of shizzle, diarrhea for fingers
Everywhere I go, personality lingers
Say you donīt like my dialect
I donīt give a damn, so [I tried to curse] your respect
If youīre looking for a reason, donīt look any farther
Cuz Iīll give it to you baby, like to your father
Take what you get if it does the job
Texas has religion...
REVOLTING COCKS ARE GOD!

There was this Texas rider from ABA Tex- 5 district
where he ws #1 a couple of years in the late 70's, early 80's.

His name was Harold Roy, but he was know as Boogie Roy or Boog Roy.

He lived in San Diego around 1978, then in 79' he moved to Texas.
He was very fast! Used to rule his class in San Diego BMX racing at Rancho and Lakeside.

I've only known of two people who remember him.
He got a write up in Minicycle BMX Action Magazine or Super BMX Magazine

When I moved there in '84, I started speed jumping the widow maker full-speed. Everyone said "man you're nuts!" 'course it wasn't as fun as getting some air, but you could pass a couple of people kinda floating around up there.

Then along came the Casino Beach track with there own widowmaker. What was up with that?

Keith McWilliams- I remember that dude.

There is an article on Boog Roy in "Super BMX" October 1981. Right next to the article about me.
Sorry I don't have the Whole Article. The article said he was from Bishop, Tx
He was in Texas - 5. As I recall, that was the Coast area. B.A. am I right?

EDIT: BTW B.A. I wasn't able to be at the races, but I watched the Grands on go211.com and happened to see your self and your dad give that 34 Ford to Clayton John. It was good to see Clayton in person last year at the Mile High Nat's at Dacono BMX here in Colorado. Funny thing happened. He remembered me and my BMX racing family. I'd love to catch up with you sometime. We (my mom and I) have some funny memories of the infamous "Anderson Winnebago" and the Texas tours we did together (as a clan - Larry, B.A., B.R. and more.) after the Redline Summer Nationals in Amarillo. Those were some good times.

Would this be the John Hamilton that used to ride JMC and Free Agent in the mid 80's? If so, nice to see you around.

If not, disregard this post. tongue.gif

Ah, the 1979/1980 ABA Summer Tours. The great stories from that would fill a library...
