I think you got a sweet deal on that '75 pwmgoose. FYI, that little bird nearly went to me the day before you scooped it. Are you planning on keeping it?

Here's a link detailing the drama behind my loss and your gain! laugh.gif

Hey Mongoosedrummer, I read the thread. It had been forwarded to me. I guess I was just a bit quicker than you. I might even say that I found it. The old guy that I bought it from, told me that a couple of people asked about it after I first talked to him. I am thinking of selling it as I don't need another 20" Mongoose. There are a couple of people that are considering buying it from me. I really would like a Kos to ride.......

Cool Patrick.

Yes, I agree you were obviously quicker than me, it's in your house now, not mine! LOL!

So, when the "old guy" told me his son sold it after we spoke by putting it on Craigslist for one day, that wasn't true? Sounds like he must have been talking with you all along while talking and emailing all those pictures etc. to me... I was just really surprised when I arranged to make the deal w/him that following Monday (or Tuesday - forget now) and he told me it was gone.

Regardless, it's all good. I'm happy that you got what you wanted. If you do intend on selling this one, I know a few people who would really want it. KenC is the first guy that comes to mind.

Cheers,

Pete
