I scored a Profile cruiser over the weekend, and can't seem to find a serial number on it anywhere. Any ideas????

How do I determine the year?
(I was hoping you would chime in mr. coasterbrake!!)

it's pretty tough.
sometimes by little construction details. but then again, those can be contradictory, too. the same general design was used for a long time.
post up some closeup pix of things like the brake bridge.
there are certainly better Profile guys here than me. Profile frames were/are pretty scarce around here, so my experience is limited.

Thank you for your help!! I'll try to get some more detailed pics ASAP. It was pretty dirty and I wanted to get it cleaned up a bit before I took pics. I'll give her a nice deep-down cleaning if the weather cooperates!!!!!

That's a 1984 I can tell by the forks. No Chase don't do that stuff to him. also its not Crud its cool.

i know it's a bad picture, but i don't think those are Profile forks. they actually look more like later MCS.

I agree with Mr. Coasterbrake....They don't look like profile forks, but I am hoping when I take the bike apart for deep cleaning, they may be stamped or something. We'll see what happens. One man's crap is another man's treasure? lol

Nice thing about Profile, the company is still around. Whith companys like this you can shoot the pictures to them and they can tell you the year it was made better that anyone else.

look like Redline forks to me if they taper from top to bottom. the picture isn't that clear to me.
and for CyRay being 10, how do he know what year old school stuff is?
