Has anyone heard of these hubs? Very exotic looking hubs... very cool looking! Ti axles and cnc alum bodies.

Thanks,

You might have meant these...

Pulstar Hubs

I have a pair. They're black but purple ano'd on the inside. I think they took a bunch of colored sets and made them black when colors weren't cool anymore. Nice design, not sure if the straight pull design is any stronger than regular flanged hubs.

I have a set of the original Pulstar mountain bike hubs. They still spin great. I beat the hell out of them and never broke a spoke or bent a wheel. I think they were ahead of their time and the straight pull spoke were seen as a gimmick. When Mavic started building wheels with straight pull spoke that type of hub started getting looked at a little more seriously.

Thanks... I am rebuilding my 99 Team Model Quad that I raced and I am thinking about putting some on there.
