It's pretty amazing he didn't just snap F/F/Bars/Cranks/Etc the way he jumped. Pretty rad to say the least.

Just curious...is the foam wrapped around the tree REALLY supposed to prevent a guy from ringin' his bell or breaking something if he hits it? And...how many riders did hit the tree before some brainiac decided to wrap some useless foam around it? Classic 80s BMX. Gotta love it.

Funny, our track had a wooden telephone pole in the middle of it. During practice I was coming down from grabbing air off a jump near it, when one of the local renobs (local track sponsor's kid) darted straight across the track in front of me. I adjusted in the air to miss him, but got squirly when I landed and hit the pole square on at speed......I never racked myself so badly in my life. I sat the day out and could barely walk for about 5 days after. Next week, during practice, I pulled a Pistol Pete across the track as the kid was cranking down the first straight. Kid flew about 25 feet in the air, when he got to his feet he figured out pretty quick what was up!

This is what ikeep sayin.....He was smooth!!!!im always hearing,i broke this ,i cracked one of those etc, yadda yadda yadda.. Any one could jump like a gorrilla but its to be smooth is whare the artistry of a true BMXer lies!! You can hear the diffrence in landings smooth you well barely hear the contact..Gorilla style you can hear all the stress of metal clanging, creaking cracking, and slamming or breaking...They are all incredably smooth and rad ...i love the first pick with leary behind giving thumbs up...total bmx coolness........
