Was the blue they used for the late 70's early 80's frames/forks solid or Metalic?
Criscobath
Mine appears to be solid blue over chrome.

Really? I was looking at JT's and it didn't look like the candy over nickle Team Gooses. It looked more like a solid non-translucent blue. Got a good pick Chrisco?

Thanks Man
Criscobath
Here ya go. Upon closer inspection, it looks like it's blue over nickle.

They had both, My son has an 81 Torker that has original metalic blue paint and I have an unrestored 79 Eddy King that is a solid clear red over chrome and I have seen the blue version of my bike as well.

I hear ya,thanks! But blue Torker Frames are pretty darn cool!!
J.T.
Was basing my information about what is underneath the frame from one of my old Red Torker frames which you can see a generic finish.

I will concur that Torker blue frame and forks are very aesthetically pleasing!

It's pretty well buried. I might have a chance to uncover tomorrow to give you some answers.
