Does anyone know if Campagnolo used any kind of dating system on their parts? I'm looking for hubs to use on a `77 Team Mongoose and I think I need Campy Tipo's. I'd like to be date correct if there is anyway to do that.

about the only dates I know of are on the inner nuts. the small thin ones are usually stamped with a year, for instance 77 or 81 or something on that line. both of mine are 81's. I have a set of high flange and low flange records. hope this will help you. plus a picture might help to.

Thanks Bob. Here's a picture of what I think I need:

If you or anyone else knows of a different hub that I should use, please let me know.

P.S. Didn't Team Gooses use Dura Ace hubs?

Thanks Tom. I know the `78 Teams used Shimano hubs, but there's not much info on the `77 Teams. I'm going by what Tim used on his resto of PK's `77 Team bike.

Bob is right about the two-number date code. It appears on the inner face of the hub lock nuts

Is that a shorty frame or is it just the camera angle?
