I am surprised that no one has posted about this here. But just in case you missed it check out Sunday's new cruiser prototype.
I have been wanting a freestyle 24 for some time now and never found anything that I really liked. Hopefully this will go into production.
Anyway, check out their blog for some nice photos and interesting comments.

I've been following this one as well. I think it's pretty cool as I sort of dig 24"s & have been a fan of Sunday! for a while.
Look forward to riding one.

I like that Fit and the new Sunday. Since the Sunday is basically the same geometry as a long 20", it makes me wonder if a bigger frame like a 21.5" Fit Lurch might work with 24" wheels.

sorry for this being my first post, without an introduction (yet)... but just got an email back from Odyssey confirming the 24" hazard lites won't be in production until spring...
i've been following the Model-C for a bit... anxiously waiting for spring when it too is supposed to be in production. i'm a huge fan of 24s, and really want one with modern geometry, like the Model-C. (i really dig old cruisers and 80s bmx, too... which is why i'm here

)
i haven't tried the fit 24", yet... or even talked to anyone that has. how's it feel?
i rode a DK General Lee 24 for a few days, but it feels just like my mid 80s mystery branded cruiser... with less character.

stumbled across a fit cr24 frame/fork on evilbay, pretty cheap... guess i'll build it up and see how it is.
hmm... i've got a pair of blue anodized araya hoops and suzue hubs that are for another build, but they could throw a nice mix of old-school flair to the thing...

Got a Sunday Model C a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't be more stoked with this bike! I am 45 years old and I feel like a kid again.
Here is a shot I got this weekend at the King of Dirt Comp at DaCompound.

I'm considering building one of those up, though I will get KILLED on the import duties (100% more than likely). How well does it bunny hop and how easy is it to throw around for 180s and such? Also, what size cranks did you use? I'm 5'10" and 200lbs, so I'm considering either this bike or a 22"TT/14.25"CS frame for 20" with some T1 Paul Buchanan bars

Within 5 min of riding my Model-C I did a hop-180 no problem. Just like on my 20". The only reason I didn't pull the roll-back is I've gotten too used to the Freecoaster on my 20 (vs a cassette on the Model-C).
I can't bunnyhop as high on the Model-C, but if I spent more time on it I'm sure I'd be up there.
I used the same size cranks I use on my 20". An added bonus on the Model-C: you never have to worry about pedal strikes!
Overall, I really like it

Cool. I think I'll build one of these up over the winter. I just have to find some way around getting nailed with import tariffs since I live in Asia. I've heard Odyssey will start making 24" Hazard Lite rims in the spring.

Yeah, I realize that now about the Odyssey rims. I saw that on another post and didn't check the date on it.
What kind of hubs would you run with a 48h rim? I've been doing a lot of research because I've been out of the loop for over 20 years. Another example, though I've read exhaustively about it, is the difference between cassette hubs and freehubs. What ever happened to freewheels? Still not sure which one I would go with. The consensus seems to be that the freetooth hubs are high maintenance.

I run the profile ss high flange hubs on all my bikes.
My model c has a 10 t in the rear and 25t up front.
They are great hubs,I used to run the ACS freewheel in the back of my other cruisers.
But The profile hubs roll fast with less drag.

I looked on Profile's website and I only saw 36h and 28h hubs. Are you talking about the mini SS hubs, or do you have something now discontinued?

I'm thinking about the Model C frameset on Dan's comp. I'm 6'1". Should I go with the 21.25tt or 21.75tt?
Also, I asked my wife which color she likes and she DISlikes the green. I'm leaning toward the silver, too, because all I've seen are green ones. Any thoughts on that? (be nice, I get more toys when I include her in the process.)

Go see this thread for a discussion on 22 vs cruisers
http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/index....&hl=factionI've got a 22 but tried a Carhartt model C before it - the lack of 100psi tyres and difficulty in no-handers put me off the C... plus the 22 was cheaper.

I'm running a 30t on both my Sundays (Model-C and a Funday!). I'd doubt you could get anything larger than that & still keep a decent chainline.

I know the model-C is not a race bike but has anyone taken it to the track? How does it handle in corners and rhythm sections compared with a cruiser (or 20") with race geometry?
