Would be good to know what year this thing is from. I had one at age 6. It was like 40 lbs, and so was I. But it was like chaining a puppy pit to a cinder block. I grew up and got faster than most.
I might be interested in getting it off ya. Depends on if we can find what year it is. It's got way better parts than mine had from '76.

Raleigh Rampar's were very popular in the late 70's to early 80's with two famous pros doing most of the Factory Team duties early on. They were Toby Henderson and Jeff Bottema. They had a large team in the mid 80's lead by my good friend George Antil of GA Racing.
My first BMX bike was the Raleigh Rampar RX-10 and I got that in 1978... The Raleigh Rampar RX-11 was the next level up with free wheel and I believe a little bit better frame and fork?
You should be able to find plenty of old school ads and tests in the older mags.

I'm a big fan of the Raleigh and i'm currently rebuilding a 16" pitty. The R11 is a cool frame and I would love to build one. The fork is unfortunately bent quite bad and should be replace.
This frame isn't the same model as it is a looptail and very rare (it's very close) but it would look close built up. I think waza should post his pic about now.
my fav poster as a kid.

The shame is I'm too big for old school stuff now. But again, I'm glad I'm not 5'4" either.
New school is good enough for me. Wonderful find and it's probably not worth over 3 or4 hundred usd to most, but guaranteed priceless to a few.
Good for you. You are now riding my childhood. Get the fork and clean it up.
