My god my eyes are bleeding, I have looked everywhere, local shops, online etc. and can't for the life of me find anyone to trade a big wad of cash for a BMX bike in 26".
NO ONE answers my e-mails, Kappa, Volume Bikes, various stores and people selling 26" BMX frames. Is there some secret store I need to go to to get this stuff? The only place that I assume actually sells a 26" BMX is Fireman's. Problem is... I don't care to much for their bikes. I only found one place that sells the Volume Sledgehammer and they're in Canada and I guess I need to write congress to have it shipped here to the U.S.
My #1 choice would be to build a bike from a Kappa frame. I haven't found anyone selling their frames and Kappa won't answer my e-mails. I am willing to settle for a cheap Volume bike which is supposed to be mass produced and plenty of them around, but the stores they list on their site all don't carry their bikes...
Please... HELP!
(THANK YOU for any help you can provide)

I agree with Brian B, the SE Racing OMs have been pretty nice the last couple of years for a stock, complete bike.
You might also check www.26bmx.com out of Austin, TX. Their site isn't updated very often, but they have some decent stuff in their classified section from time to time.
Good luck.

I have two for sale..........
Both are FM Flyers. One is frame and fork powder coated metallic blue. This is from the first run of 21 or so.
The second is from the second run of these (about 7-8) and is in the raw and perfect.

Thanks for the help everyone. Maybe I'm too picky... however they do make what I want, when it comes time to actually buy it I can't find it for sale anywhere. As far as "new" and "old" school, sorta both, or a combo, really "Mid-School".
I love that SE racing bike, except for it's color. Good god.. yellow and candy apple red?!? I saw other 26" SE bikes in different colors, couldn't buy 'em though. I'd hate to buy a new bike and then strip the paint off and paint it again.. then I gotta find something to do with everything else that's bright yellow like the tires and rims.
Don't care for Fireman's bikes. They look to be made real well, just... too 70's, those skinny tubes..
I am debating on bidding on that Kappa frame on eBay, only problem is that out of all the Kappa frames the one for sale on eBay is the one I don't like. That Z shape one... I'm still thinking about it, just wondering if I wanna have a "Z" bike. I almost wanna buy it and send it to that frame doctor and have him cut that bottom tube off and put a straight one in, then I'll have the frame I want.
All the other 26" frame bikes I see are usually dirt jump bikes with front suspensions and seat tubes in line with the drop out's.
I'd like to buy a Volume Sledgehammer then wait on Kappa to make more frames, but I can't actually BUY a Volume Sledgehammer.
Again thanks for the help, I just want a normal BMX frame or bike in 26", like I said before the Kappa frames are my first choice, they just don't return my e-mails and the only one I can find for sale is that Z frame.

Eastern makes a full rigid 26er, as does MacNeil, DMR, and Kona.

I think that the Volume Sledgehammers will be out yet this month. So probably in the shops early November. Any shop that deals with QBP should be able to get Volumes for you, as they don't deal direct...

What about a custom build, yeah it'll cost ya, but you will have exactly what you want. I think supercross still advertises the 26" fork, so you should just need a frame. I could send specs from my 26er if needed.

If you like the OM but not the color scheme, wait a bit for the 2009 in old school SE blue and brown.

I picked up a 2008 26" SE OM and its my favorite purchase in a long time, I ride it just about everyday, its a fine machine. People comment on it everytime I ride it. Not a race bike but thats not what I got it for
rides smooth and cant beat its looks, one thing I'll never sell
