I only remember seeing these on 3 piece cranks....how common were they on 1 piece cranks? (I am working on my Rockford '09 projects....hence the question) Thanks for your input.

I suppose that begs the question: were they even offered with 1/2" spindles? I don't think they were.

I just went and looked at the original write-up in BMXA and it isn't mentioned, but the photo shows 9/16" spindles.

Hopefully someone here will know.

They did come in 1/2" as well as many of us used them on one piece cranks in the late 1970s. Somewhere in my brother's house is a box with half a dozen sets in it (of 1/2" and 9/16")

I assumed they were offered in 1/2in. because Helix offers their replica version with 1/2in. spindles. Anyone have any pics of 1 piece cranks with Reedy pedals.......It's a picture challenge!!(I've been watching too much Cash Cab. LOL!)
TONE

Yes they did make them. I have a set of 1/2" Reedy pedals I bought from a big time racer way back in 78' or 79', I gave $20.00 for them.........hmmm Do you guys think I was ripped off ???......lol tongue.gif

I never knew they were available in 1/2". I do remember tapping a set of 180mm Takagis to 9/16" so I could run my Reedy pedals in them. Talk about a fun job.

Here's a pic of the Helix BMX 1/2" Reedy pedals on 1 pc. cranks...
