I have been meaning to take some pics of this build for a while. I decided to bring it inside and take some pics of it sitting on the wood floor as an homage to all the pics that were posted when I first joined VBMX. It seemed like every build was photographed on a wood floor.

Time to kill at work so I thought I would share the story of this bike and how I got it.

One of my buddies traded a quarter piper for this PK. He left it at my house after riding it there to pick up his car. Probably two years later he was off at college and another guy saw it sitting in my garage. He said hey that’s my old PK it was stolen years ago. I told him go ahead and take it. He never did. So it sat at my mom’s house until a few years ago when I decided to restore it.

Before I started to restore it I started asking around about it. From what I gathered the bike probably had 3 or 4 owners before it got to my buddy. I don’t know how many coats of paint were on it when I stripped it.
