Hi everyone laugh.gif

I built this a little while ago and finally took some pictures. I am a Diamond back fan. I decided to build an early bike and keep the price down. I was inspired by a bike I saw on this site ago time ago. I like it and get a lot of looks when riding it and it doses good skids.

It’s 79 TK Diamond Back frame

WOW, that thing is killer! What a great build... looks like something somebody would have actually ridden/owned in my neighborhood back in the day!
Kurt.

How did you go with the colour Matt? I'm redoing my '80 Large in the DB blue - did you have a sample to colour match, or did you go as close as you could from pics?

That bike is so perfect, I love it. sun_bespectacled.gif

killer build. i had a TK back in 1980. that bike was bulletproof. i just found one on ebay a while back that i'm redueing just like my bike from the 80's. TK's are so rear, i have only seen 2 in person, mines from 1980 and the one i just got from ebay.

I just had a guess really. It was Windsor Blue DSH63 Duplicolor

Now that is cool. A DB was my first real bmx bike. I never saw a TK before. Really nice build.

Looks great.

Love the Skyway I's.

Been looking for a set of those myself - thought they'd look good on an early PK.

Whoa!!! cool.gif

How much would you take for it? It's great man.
rydah
yeah brah i got that bike from ebay for super cheap in my opinion. i would have paid at least twice that amount. i told the guy to just send the frame forks, seat, seatpost and clamp and the can trash the rest of the bike. i need to find the correct sticker kit. i have most of the parts waiting.
velocidad
whoa - missed this ohmy.gif

nice one RC smile.gif

Its a classic Keeper . A set of blue comp II's would and , grab-on grips with the blue caps would set it off ..

Not much sweeter than a blue 70's DB in my book. Nice job!!
