Shortly after Shawnee had its track up and running, another opened in Enid, Oklahoma about 90 miles away. It was a typical midwest bmx type place with some great bike shops and some fine people as well. There were three people who stood out to me at that time, and one of them is a member here.

These guys were the core of the Enid bmx scene back then and ruled the bmx roost. Where are they now? Randy, I would love to talk to Kelley Lemmon if he is still around. What happend to Reeser? Didn't his dad sell eyeglasses?

Hows it going. I have not talked to Donnie or Kelley in years. I think Donnie Reeser took over his dads Eyeglass stores. Last time I saw Kelley Lemmon was a few years after high school. Jeff Finley was another guy who rode a lot in Jeff Ruminers class if I remember. I have a few photos from BITD I will try and post. Definately my best memories were racing against you when I had a chance and the times when the Factory teams came thru Okla. I think we held our own pretty well against the factory teams.

I used to come down to Enid from wichita with my friend Matt Sullivan to race. We rode redline then. We also raced the garber track a couple of times.. do you remember it? Also Shawnee, tulsa green county and Stillwater. Do you remember a certain country singer when he raced? He was slow! hahaha Garth sorry man!
