I have this extra front wheel and wondered what kind of hub this is? The rim is a black ARAYA. It spins forever.

Thanks,
Paul

I'm no expert but I have a Bulleye hub that looks just like that. It looks like someone put together a different axle for yours though. Mine have hollow axles with allen bolts. I have seen through bolt axles for Bullseye but I still think they are a bit different than what you have there for a axle.

Looks like a Bullseye hub to me. Funky through axle though. Looks heavy and too long. like something someone found in the spare nuts and bolts bin in an old garage.

I thought they all had allen bolts too, but not sure how they would work on this one. I may try to spruce it up with a better axle. If anyone has a correct axle lying around, please let me know.

Thanks

didnt cook bros make a hub that looked like that

it does look like a Bullseye thru-bolt style, just has a different bolt/nut. the actual hollow axle is probably correct/original.

Ditto - that's what it is.

As several folks have said, 1st Generation Bolt Thru Bullseye Hub with the incorrect bolt in it. Correct axle, Incorrect Bolt.

Yep. Had several pairs in the early years. I am in agreement with everyone above.

Hi Paul,

I have an early set of Bullseye hubs that came with a solid bolt axle, however the bolt head is a standard hex head. Your bolt head looks extra tall.

Hi,

My years of working in a BMX bike shpp lead me to believe it is a bullseye. It is definitely not a cooks bros hub, they had smoother more rounded angles where the flange met the hub body.

Bullseye hubs for sure. Earlier ones. But both types were available at the same time
