If none of this works out, I would toss my hat in the mix. I had a ring side seat during the developmental years of bmx and was there to see and ride in the first two actual bmx tours of the US. Those were such awesome times.
Oh, and I already plan on being at Rockford 09. Of course, just as a back up. Given my choices, I would much rather hear Stu or PK, or David Clinton or any of those fine fellows from the Golden Era of BMX. And I know Eddy King.

Even though Jim Melton spoke in 2000 or 2001, it would be awesome to have him speak again.

Jim didn't actually speak in 2001. Craig (gOrk) Barrette was the speaker and Jim was accepting his award when he said a few kind words.

We will play golf on Sunday morning. It is written, and so it shall be. That will be the first time since I was in Austin. ;-)

People to speak at a BMX gatering? Im thinking the best would be to get some of the legends up there. Richard Hutchins, Matt Hoffman, Ron Wilkerson, Dennis McCoy, Dave Mirra, or what happened to GT rider Gary Ellis? Would be really cool to get them all together to talk about new BMX products vs old, and get there input on quality then vs now. These old school people should get paid to test products and write reviews on such things for BMX Magazines. They know what real quality is. They prolly have people with "Journalism" degrees writing this stuff right now. I dont know if that makes them qualified to tell "me" a bike is good or lousy...
