I grew up here in the DC area loving Rockville BMX. VBMX has lured in many of our old school brethren, but I've never heard if anyone's found Jay Metzler of Rockville BMX. I didn't know him personally. I mean, he knew my name when I walked into his store, but I think I'm amongst about ten thousand BMX'ers that fall into that category.

Just curious.

Jay and the entire staff at Rockville were all class acts. He treated me very well whenever I went out there and even after I left Hutch he took it upon himself/Rockville to send me and Rick M to the next AFA masters contest on his dime. It's been a long time since I've spoken to him, so if someone here knows how to contact him, tell him I said hello and thanks. Woody.

There's a DC area guy that goes by Jay Metzler in LinkedIN but I couldn't send him an "INmail" without paying for a premium membership.

I'll ask Jeremy Alder, I speak to him every so often. He might know.

I managed to get in touch with the Jay Metzler that's listed on LinkedIn, and that's not the guy. He did say that he ran into another Jay Metzler in Charlottesville though.

Sent a letter to "J Metzler" in my old neighborhood, a buddy of mine would call Rockville BITD and Jay would drop his order at his house on his way home. Sent an intro via snail mail, just to be repsectful, rather than calling his house and bugging him, should possibly hear something in a few days.
