I would like to see Patterson,
Most of all I would love to see the old Uniforms of BMX make a comeback,
It was cool BITD when you would go to a national and you could tell who the Factory riders were,
I spent all last weekend at the Grands and I have been away from the sport for a long time, Truth is I couldn't tell you the factory riders from the bike shop riders or what when I was out there, other than a few guys being real fast and knowing they were on some sort of factory team, I really had no clue, Dans comp uniforms stood out, but the rest pretty much looked the same, I couldn't read the names of the teams on the jerseys, not cause the guys were going to fast, the jerseys are just to busy looking,
I totally agree on the uniform thing. They all look alike. Too many swirls and stuff. How about just a good logo? Any half wit can take a jersey and leathers and slap on a bunch of swoosh's and junk. Looks like cat barf to me.
But as far as just a frame : Build me a 1976 24" Schwerma Champion with single drop out Speedo forks. Doug's frames where the best darn frame ever built. Could withstand a nuke hit. All this high tech stuff still can not compare to the absolute power of that bike. The geometry angles where copied by Redline in the legend that was the first Redline Prolines. Old school baby.... that's what I am talking about.
And I am crazy happy to see Bullseye making a comeback. These guys help build BMX. A true legend and built in the USA.
This is what BMX is to me.
