Of course, they would be better than ever,. I'm not talking about Dorel or Fuji buying a name but a true restart and made in the USA!What would your's be? I think I'd like to see new a new RRS or JMC frame. Hopefully not in aluminum.

I am looking forward to seeing some reproduction CW race frames.

I say let the dead dogs lie. I'd rather not see a new DG or RRS. I'd rather remember them as they were (Sniff-shiff) sad.gif

All of em. Back then there was a lot of character and innovation that defined each company and team. I know thats bound to happen in the growing years of any sport but you don't see that much today. Everything looks the same.

Exactly my thoughts.

Innovation means so much less these days.
A flare in a tube end or some crazy tube shape constitutes most companies idea of innovation.
Cosmetic changes that only serve to make your frame or part look a little different then the thousands of other rolling off the line, isn't innovation.

The line between one companies product and another is a thin one - non-existent more often then not .

I'm not saying innovation is dead, but it's been on life support for a while now.

I would ahve to say zeronine if not f/f at least decals and clothing.

Without a doubt it would be JMC. Nuff said.

JMC or Patterson

I would like to see Patterson,

Most of all I would love to see the old Uniforms of BMX make a comeback,
It was cool BITD when you would go to a national and you could tell who the Factory riders were,
I spent all last weekend at the Grands and I have been away from the sport for a long time, Truth is I couldn't tell you the factory riders from the bike shop riders or what when I was out there, other than a few guys being real fast and knowing they were on some sort of factory team, I really had no clue, Dans comp uniforms stood out, but the rest pretty much looked the same, I couldn't read the names of the teams on the jerseys, not cause the guys were going to fast, the jerseys are just to busy looking,

I would like to see some of the oldschool companies brought back, but not in reproduction form. Reproductions and re-issues are NEVER the same no matter how accurate they are. I would like to see some of the old companies with their old designs and distinct featues being taken to the next level, with thicker tubing, modern geometry, etc. IF it's done right, I am all for it, but I DO NOT want to just see a legendary name resurrected on a bunch of cookie-cutter crap.

Some frames I would like to see:

JMC
VDC
Race Inc.
Thruster
Schwinn ( a Sting frame that actually is chromoly and has tri-oval tubing and NOT a re-stickered Pro Stock aluminum frame, even though those are nice)

I would love to see DG come back with something very boutique and spendy - like their old aftermarket motocross stuff. They still make aftermarket parts for quads (ATVs), so you would think it's possible. Not likely, but possible. I put myself to sleep at night dreaming of a DG/JMC hybrid. It would essentially be a JMC, but with DG gussets and logos, and in my dreams it's titanium. I know. I know. Titanium isn't ideal for bmx, but these are my dreams - not reality.

GHP is doing it and Greg is putting out a great product.I have ridden both the 20 and 24,great bikes and reasonable on the pocket book too! DG sold off there rights to bmx back in 79,I think Green Duck still owns the rights to the bmx name.

I'm with Brad...

I must be the youngster here. Nothing i'd like to see more than a remake of the entire GT bmx line (not freestyle) from the early to mid 80s. Old winged stickers on every part. dominator seat. nothing but chrome goodness. of course available in adult sizes (24"+). btw, if anyone has a gt cruiser such as this let me know.

I totally agree on the uniform thing. They all look alike. Too many swirls and stuff. How about just a good logo? Any half wit can take a jersey and leathers and slap on a bunch of swoosh's and junk. Looks like cat barf to me.

But as far as just a frame : Build me a 1976 24" Schwerma Champion with single drop out Speedo forks. Doug's frames where the best darn frame ever built. Could withstand a nuke hit. All this high tech stuff still can not compare to the absolute power of that bike. The geometry angles where copied by Redline in the legend that was the first Redline Prolines. Old school baby.... that's what I am talking about.

And I am crazy happy to see Bullseye making a comeback. These guys help build BMX. A true legend and built in the USA.
This is what BMX is to me.
