Sweet bike. So these things were always intended as street/trails bikes? For the longest time it was my impression that ti was stiff. I looked into a set of ti cranks and everyone said they flex. So I got DXRs. Can someone tell me why Titanium suddenly flexes? I would imagine it is the alloy content.

Dude, finish your bike so you can tell us what we are missing. Nice bike. Hats off.

Ti always has flexed. Ti road bikes ride better than carbon for that reason, and at one time there was a Ti MTB that had rear end travel with no pivots or shocks. It was designed to have the frame flex for 4 inches of travel. That`s the advantage of titanium. It has nearly 100% elasticity with the right alloy.

I can't speak for what a Ti bike feels like. But, what I can tell you is that it is about the best material for landing gear ever. Abosorbs everything. I'm not sure if you can see in the pic, but the gear have a significant bow to them. When you leave the ground the wheels suck in about a foot on each side (talk about flex). This is my old plane. My new one is the same make but the wings aren't shortened. It's in a stage of rebuilding so you can't see the gear as well.

What a great ride! We have a couple of the old Titan junior BMX bikes and ti really looks great. Wish I had collected more of them before the prices went crazy. Good Job!
