Been lurking around for a while, reading up whilst I worked on my first OS build, much respect to everyone for the posted advice and guidance - absolutely invaluable !!

It's pretty much built now and I have one last conundrum: Decals.

The bike is an 82 Mongoose Two Four (serial A2XXXXX)

I have, through my over enthusiasm, two sets of decals for it, one locally bought (Aus) and one from the guys at Vintaage Goose.

The only difference is the front fork decal, one set has the Team Mongoose vertical (as seen on a lot of other 'Gooses) and the other has a black background with a multiple drop shadow.

Which is should I use - I want the F/F to be era correct after its bath

Do I go for the Drop shadow ones out of the catalogue or seeing it was an early '82 build the other version?

I'd use the team ones, youve bought from bmxproduxts.com & vintagemongoose.com
You should have asked me when i sent you the decals set...LOL
