Looking for some information on some old GT's. I will soon rebuilding a 1989 GT Tequesta and need new forks. Before I start looking does anyone know which year forks and from any different models I can use? ( I dont remember the model names but could find them pretty easy) If I find some 88's or 91's will they be compatable? I know that GT made a few models those years. They are the slightly curved type forks. I have looked around hoping to find something used. I have yet talked to a dealer. Anyone have any links or other info??

Thanks in advance.

So have you fixed the forks????????????????

No. I have been busy at work. The wife was also is giving me a hard time too because I just got done building (restoring) the Redline of my dreams. ($1000.00 of powdercoat, carbon fiber, titiaium RRR.) Try explaining $225 for a seat and a post. (they just dont understand!! wink.gif I have actually been thinking of just scraping the project. I just might see if someone is interested in it. Everything is in pretty good shape. It could use a paint job. The only other things it needs are a few cables, a chain and the forks threaded and cut.

I will keep posted
