This call goes out to all Indy area freeriders we are now moving forward with completing the freeride park on Indy's northside (Town Run Trail Park). This park is part of the Indpls Park and Recreation network located on 96th Street by the White River. We need freerider/bmxer input and especially
volunteer support to help design and complete the course.

This is an opportunity to be part of a freeriding park from the ground up (literally). There will be a bobcat on site, there is plenty of dirt there already, all we need is manpower to finish it off. There are a few local BMX racers and freeriders familiar with this park and commited to help out. This is an opportunity to design and build a really cool course for freeriders by freeriders.

For more details please visit the HMBA (Hoosier Mountain Biking Assoc) freeride thread:

For those out of state, we welcome your input and ideas. We may learn from those who freeride in established areas and welcome your productive suggestions. Many thanks.

There will be a bobcat on site Saturday August 2nd at 9 AM. Any freerider/bmx or other person is invited to help out or share their ideas in building the course. FYI, the drop in is a wooden ramp that's almost vertical offering a nice momentum rush.

A lot of dirt was moved today. Josh performed a freeride move on the bobcat avoiding a sideways endo off the first hill. Will need help tweaking the dirt. May open the first set shortly.

FYI, the ramp drop may be changed using smooth cedar planks rather than rough cedar on the drop only. Some tweaking proposed to allow a smoother drop and slight angle change as well.
