When I first started racing my mom bought me a P3500 or at least I think thats the right model. It was chrome and rode pretty good. I soon after got a Cycle Craft that I raced for many years only to finish my race career as a kid on the Raleigh as I outgrew the other and was turning 16 and getting a car. I remember stripping all the stickers off of it and putting on JMC stickers so some of my race buddys would quit picking on me.

I understand that no one seems to collect them becasue I am always looking for a similar bike to rebuild back to the way I had mine. Did they build to many to be worth anything or are they just not desirable to the collector and are doomed for the scrap yard.

Just curious.

and if you happen to have a Raleigh with JMC stickers on it please get in touch with me. LOL

I know a place here in OKC where there are 3 or 4 old Raleigh BMX bikes it's a flea market and the dude only wants like 50 apiece for them. I have not gotten them because I do not like the geometry of the frames they look like 10 speeds. If you want I;ll check them ojut and let you know what they are.

Hey Pro Tour, I have a 85 Ral, I believe its a R3500, not sure, in my attic, but it dos'nt have the AERO style forks. Those were 83ish. But its complete survivor with all original parts good2.gif
I missed you at the Akron states, but saw the Yellow truck. PM me if interested.
PS check out Shady Lane in Norwalk. Nice Track and we are there every Weds and Sunday.

The one I had was about an 83. It also had the Aero style forks also, that was one of the things I like best about it. Thanks for the offer Rick I will keep it in mind for sure. I have been out to Shady Lane 3 times this year. I really like their track and am looking forward to the next state race there. Make sure you come over and say hi next time you see the "Big Yellow Truck".

Sean if you could check them out for me that would be great.

Thanks everyone.
