I have just finished building one of my 'holy grails' a Slingshot. I had one to test over here in the UK in 85 and always wanted another.

The bars are Slingshot Pro, I spoke to the factory about settings for the springs and they said they had a set and would I be interested? Would I, it took me a millisecond to say yes.

How does it ride? Flexable or stiff?

I've never been a huge fan of these...but I would have to say, that is a fine build, something different that's for sure!!!

I've always wondered how they ride? Have you taken it for a spin? What was the theory behind the design?

Awesome looking bike!!! That looks great. Nice job!!! I never knew Slingshot made forks and handlebars. I've only seen the frames. Learn something new everyday.

Hey Sean I havent seen or heard of you in a while. I was wondering when you were going to finish your wifes birthday present. As allways killer build my man.

Looking at how they are set up, it seems it would work similar to a break-away basketball rim. With enough force and resistance (i.e. rider on the gate/ snap) they would spring forward. Am I right?

I don't comment on to many builds (I know I should) but this one is really amazing. I have seen the cruisers (Mountain bike models) but I love this one! Your attention to detail is fantastic and I love the color you built this one in! Great bike!
