So i have been working on this trick combo where (to put it simple) i do a reverse rolling Whiplash into a reverse Elbow glide with ehm "wrong" foot. Both of those tricks combined or not have been around since forever but for me they are "new". Reading the description here, now, doesn't sound like much but i have been trying to get those reverse Whiplashes or 3/4 reverse Whiplashes to be specific, dialed for the part few years, let alone backward Elbow glide. I began messing around with them last summer, it felt difficult but not entirely impossible. Mind you i have my regular Elbow glides very dialed and in control so basicly i just had to lear to roll backwards. And as some of you might know from personal experience, there is a serious risk of falling over the bars while going into the position.
What's difficult for me is staying in the Whiplash starting position while rolling backwards or reverse, whichever is the correct term, because the bike handles way different than going forward. Anyway, i managed to pull and land a few yeasterday for the first time and even caught a few trys and on video. The main reason why i even took the sinlge trick/combo on video is because i was trying to explain the very combo via email to a friend and realized a video would speak for thousand words. The flatland tricks aren't easy to explaing you know if you REALLY want to be spcific about it, like i usually do, lol!
However i was so stoked yeasterday (well, still am) that i made a humble 1 minute compilation of my attempts. So don't expect anything more, it'n not Dorkin' four.
You have two options, either watch it here at YouTube where they strongly encourage people to "broadcast themselves" or, if you wish to view it in far better quality and have a fairly fast connection you can right click and download it directly from here.

It's up to you but either way, enjoy! I am now off to Flatstyles 5.

That's a nice link. Smooth and flowing. Kids always ask me what is my hardest trick. I tell them the one I just learned. Stoked. Sisu!
BOB-O
i just love the fact that you still do this on our old school rides.
that just means you don't need to buy one of the new school micro machines.

good stuff timo

was I the only one who get distracted when the bug ran infront of the camera ?

Sweet riding though. Wish I could do that.

Smooth! Well done! And not are you doing it on an old school bike, but it's old school style. I like it.

Cheers guys. Well the vid wasn't subtitled "antz in the pantz" for nothing, lol! There was indeed quite a few ants walking by and in front of the camera lens, i noticed them only when i got home and began editing. At 0:44 one of them funny fellas even stops and watches me ride out of the missed trick, he probably laughed at me thinking "is that the best you can do". And the yellow excavating machine behind the trees.. man that thing was scary. Anyway, i was stoked, in fact still am with this "new" link.
Brett that's a great quote, i will have to remember that. The Street beat got some attention at the jam yesterday, it's funny cause i am so accustomed to it, both its looks and how it functions but i bet the new schooler kids think it's piece of ancient history even though it's set up in late 80/early 90s style, wait a minute.. that IS ancient history. I forgot (again) i'm stuck in the time vortex. LOL
But, one of the french riders did bust out an amazing pumping Cliffhanger on my Street Beat yeasterday and he did it for almost a few minutes until his feet were sore. Now That was something and goes to show the kids CAN ride the old equip aswell, if they want or have to. I was stoked watching it.

Thanks for the comments y'all.
