A friend of mine has a mid 80s Hutch Windstyler, which is a survivor down to the original pink tires. It's in decent shape. Can anyone tell me if this is a common bike, desireable bike, or other? It's white with white components and pink graphics.

Windstylers were the lower end hutch bikes for the guys like me that couldn't afford the Trickstar but still had a lot of the high end parts. Some people like them, a lot of people don't. I actually think more people would restore them if the decals were available.
I have a set of green/pink decals, black decals, and pink/green decals. Anyway, nice bike.

My windstyler was white with white peregrines on it. I wanted to change things up so I replaced the tires with pink GT's, the grips with pink/white mushrooms, a pink seat, and some pink brake cables.

As far as desireable, it is hard to say without pics. The condition of the bike matters as well as the components that are on the bike. Some had better parts than others.

Post a pic. I would like it. They run from $200-$350 in good shape. Some even higher but again, just depends on the parts.
