Fewcm,

That was one of the best story's I've heard, I went from laughing out loud expecting a punch line all the way to being proud of you all within a small span.

I just wish I had that frame to help you out!

Great stuff man!!

Thanks Deanna. Your accomplishments speak volumes. You paid the price and got some great results.

I believe that picture of Stu and I shaking hands is one of my favorites. If you like that one, I will add this one just for the fun of it.

This one was taken right after the race. You can see Stu in the background leaning against Ernies van. (In my mind he is scratching his head wondering what happened, how did I loose?) In reality he is contemplating the meaning of life and wondering how to break it to me that he let me win. laugh.gif

Dennis,
who are you speaking with? I love the shirt, "YOU LOSE".

You are kidding, right? You can't tell me (us) that you don't know who that is.

Man what a great website. I've ben trying to track down people I used to race with and this place is it. I've seen a lot of names that I used to know post here.

For me there have been many, but the most memoraable was winning the ABA Grands as a 13 year old novice.

Traveling from state to state just to race a bike. That was the absoulte best childhood anyone could have and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Being ranked first in the nation as a 17 expert in the NBL through June, until I wrecked and seperated my shoulder. Ended up Natl # 7 and #9 in Cruiser that year

Donating my trophies to a local track to be won by other racers. I did that twice. What else would you do with over a thousand trophies.

I could go on and on, but don't want to appear like im bragging

Tecate race (as seen by the mighty Oz)

Putting the OM and Beckering over the berm at an SE sponsored race in Calexico in the late 70s in Senior sidehacks smile.gif

Or winning senior Sidehacks at Rancho at some obscure double point race where three out of four hacks were tied for first place after all three grueling, gruesome, crash infested, goggle pulling, fist flying, broken bone motos. We got second the last moto but the tie breaker between the hacks was the order of placing in the last moto.

I still have the scars, the trophy and best of all, the memories
