Hi - I'm new to this forum and would appreciate a bit of advice from you guys.

I have just bought this Haro Master f&f from the Bay here in England.

It was always my dream bike as a kid and now I've got the chance to build one I'd like to do it justice (the F&F are immaculate) with a reasonable set of parts.

Trouble is I don't have loads of cash to spend and would appreciate any tips on components that are decent, likely to be reasonably priced and don't weigh a ton. I'm starting from absolute scratch and have not ridden freestyle for 18 years so it's all a bit daunting at the moment. A complete parts list from you would be a great help

cheers and thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome aboard!

And here's mine (heavily customized to fit my needs as a daily rider):

General advise; build it the way YOU want especially if you're starting out form scratch. Some of the stock parts sucked anyway so it NEEDS to be customized/upgraded especially if you're going to actually ride it. smile.gif
If you're not going for an era-correct/factory specific build then i'd say the possibilities are endless.

Awsome bike. I've got one myself that is just about ready to ride. Its in Brian P's shop right now getting dialed in, but I'll try and get some pictures up of it soon!

Like Timo said, I wouldnt go too crazy on making it era correct. Its a great rider.

Hi there and thanks for the pics and info, that a great help. I look forward to seeing Jeff's bike's too. I think you are right about not getting too caught up in making it 'correct', I just hope you don't all take the p%$$ when it's done! unsure.gif
On a technical note, I've got my eyes on some flight cranks, is the bottom bracket standard US size?
cheers

Arg, I was watching that frame on english Ebay too.
Great Frames set you have there!

I just got a Very used 91 frame set to build up as my new rider.
Right now I'm riding a 92 (dressed up as an 87)

Jeff S, I can't wait to see yours all finished.
Smokin_Endo and I just trimmed off the welded-on brake bosses on the back dropouts so they don't get in the way for rear axle peg tricks (they were all bent up anyway).
