What about a TA XL, this way you can still use the same parts of your standard???.... or maybe a Patterson Pro Long???

Look around for a Powerlite XL. I just sold an 84 with a 20.5" TT. That'd be the ticket, if you can find one.

Patterson Pr200
Hutch Pro Racer
CW Pistol Pete or XL models
GHP Long
MCS xl's
all are pretty roomy, for the era anyway
Nat Pro's are small, even the LONG model... long refers to the rear triangle, NOT top tube

+1 I have 2 Powerlite pro's. 20.5 TT I could eaisly race them any day of the week. Match that up with a 1st gen DK xl stem, you have plenty of room. Seat mast is really laid back on it.

The Judge II was mid- to late-80's, but they did come stickered with the traditional Judge stickers early on. All the class of a Hutch, but with a 20.5" top tube and rides like a dream.
I have a nice National Pro Long frameset, NP bars and pads that I would consider letting go. PM if interested.

How about a Moosegoose? Sure they look funny but the ride is unbeatable to me at least.
Yeah, yeah I know,I always post "Why not a Moose?" when someone mentions a bigger or longer 20"..Just my nature..
