They built their own bikes and started a team. They were based I think out of somewhere in lower Indiana. It didn't seem they were around too awfully long. I remember seeing them around '79 or so at some local tracks in Indiana and Kentucky. I don't think they sold any bikes though.
Anyone remember this team? The team colors were mostly red and blue. Pretty cool lookin' logo.

they were out of evansville and it was ssp stryker. still have factory racing bill walters leathers and bike.the frames they made kept braking because aluminum weld didn't hold if I rtemember correctly. my bike was heat treated a couple of times to make it stronger. only weighed like10 pounds.

Whoa! Shocked I saw this post. The Stryker was my first BMX bike. That was 80 or 81. My dad bought the frame from a closed out bike shop in Evansville. I think the quality assurance on the frame really sucked but the stickers and uniforms were cool. My dad also bought a mini DG frame and mini JMC fork for my brother who was 5 at the time. Wish I had some of that hardware now...

I ran across one of them in Evansville. I tried to score it but the guy was talking #'s way way out of my range.
