First off, newbie here. Born and raised in Chicago. Used to ride the 8-track at Irving & Cumberland a lot BITD. Lived on my bike.

Secondly, just sold my mid 80's Predator at a garage sale a couple of years back for $25. Chomo frame, pixel graphics, black aluminum seat tube and clamp FWIW. It was in very good condition. Some on this site may groan, or maybe one of you bought it. Hope it's in good hands.

Finally, was hoping to I.D. my first bike. Early 80's Schwinn bmx, steel/chromo frame, silver paint w/ blue graphics, blue Tange forks (pinched). Bought @ Rudy's Schwinn on Irving Park Rd. near Portage Park (North Siiiiide). Doesn't seem like anything special, but it was to me. Got ripped off @ Harlem Irving Plaza one day... Me:sad

Anyways, thanks in advance. Any info will be much appreciated. Glad I found this site, been lurking for a few weeks, brings back memories of TGOD (the good ol' days). Hoping to find/build a Redline someday soon.

(Apologies if this post is in the wrong section)

Cheers.

I built one of those schwinns for my son a couple years ago for Christmas. I enjoy watching him have fun riding it.
