Here are some bikes we had down today. I thought i would take some pics and share before they went back in the dark!

Are thoughs all NOS or custom rebuilt ?
dewabo
all restored or built by me. The Ripper has some NOS parts but the others are all built from good used parts. new grips here and there. a few painted frames.

Nice builds , very clean .
indylodown

So sweet! What a great collection, everyone a classic!

Cool clean & varied collection you have there , hope it stays that way.

I don't know how severe the weather conditions are & how they vary over the seasons "between Tulsa and Claremore" , I live in Australia.
but a few of the US VBMX members here have reported finding their Tuf or Pro Necks cracked when they have removed bikes that have been stored up in their attic.

Other bike parts/components that are often heavily torqued down may suffer the same fate , hell of a lame way to break an expensive bike part , but it has happened more than once.

So if it snows in winter , frys in summer & you don't have a year round climate controlled attic space where you live, it _may_ be a good idea to loosen up all the "clampy" parts on that classic looking collection of bikes you have + leave a note taped to each loose part to remind you to tighten it up before you take them out for a ride.

Good advice! My shop is climate controlled though thank goodness.

As far as weather in Oklahoma we have a saying " if you don't like the weather wait a minute"

Sounds like Melbourne in Australia, four seasons in one day!

Sweet collection too, I really like the Quad.

Has anyone ever told you how nice your attic is...............I love the Ripper...................
finallyracing
Unbelieveable! I don't see how you guys have all these bikes "in the attic." Thanks for showing them.
BMX2112
nice collection! nice to see you let them out in the yard for some fresh air and a little sun.
dewabo
Yeah I need to get them someplace I can stare at them all the time! I could look at them for hours! I know you guys know what I am talking about..

Chicagopats new bike shop in Sand Springs is going to have a vintage bike show in late July. BMX2112 and Monster Robot you guys ought to come up and check it out! I know its a drive but there will be lots to look at.
hollywood763
wow!!

that ashtabula bike is a super rare one! I've only ever seen one together and one a year ago, just the frame though. a buddy in CA had it.

very nice collection!

You ain't lyin about that, its so true. I myself lost a cherry ESP Stem due to that attic storing situation. Let this be a warning that it does happen! I had to cough up $400 for a NOS ESP Cap!

I know "exactly" what you are talking about! I've been staring at my latest build for a couple of weeks.

Keep us informed. I'll definitely put forth an effort to make that! I can probably get at least four bikes there.

Any rock'n'roll shows down there about that time? If I remember, Sand Springs has a nice music venue....?

dewabo
not so much sand springs but Downtown Tulsa is getting to be quite the music spot. I am shure something will be going on. we'll keep you busy! I'll post something up about the show with plenty advance warning for everyone.

Where's the rest of them?? He has more than that hiding up there in that attic! Very nice!!
