for me, it had to be the SE camo uniforms from around '82. scot's use of the earthtone colors with the camo on the pants just looked awesome. made ya look like a soldier as well as a racer. my second fave would have to be the GJS uniforms. even though i've never owned either. what's yours?

Diamond Back. Sandy had a good grasp on how to market that stuff BITD & of course being a freestyle guy, the Haro trick team was sharp.

1986 REDLINE

Mid 80's Murray.

I was always split between the SE Camo uniforms and the early (circa 1979-80) Mongoose uniforms. I loved the red white and blue, the Bill Walters Jerseys and Pants, and the hand-painted helmets.

But the "Factory Boys" / Factory Girl / Factory Ace Jerseys and BW Pants with a "tres colores" Moto III and custom Vans were the penultimate, if not ultimate, in rollin' phat!

even though i was a hutch guy i always dug the patterson colors. the red, yellow and blue looked sweet.

as a kid i hated se but now years later its one of my favorite.

I am torn between classic Redline and Patterson.

For me it was the Powerlite and Zeronine uniforms.

I liked the clean look of Torker uniforms. I also always thought Denny Davidow was the coolest looking rider in his Skyway duds.

i actually like the mid 80's murray jerseys.., patterson jerseys, and diamondback....i didnt fully appreciate SE until a few years ago after i joined this site...but now, theyre one of my faves too.

I really liked what I think is 2nd generation GT with the white jersye and the yellow/blue stripe that angled across the jersey with the Aero pants.

Gen 1 Mongoose was so factory with hand painted Helmets, BW pants and those Stars and stripe jerseys. Everyone matched. I think of KOS's comments about Skip making them always have new stuff on. I did not like the JT era for them.

I also like the JT Era for Redline with Stu, Ruminer and Crews. Very Sano.

SE always looked thrasher, outlaw, non main stream. Earth tones seemed more for the background set at a Gordon Lightfoot or Helen Ready concert. I never latched onto Tan, brown and baby blue.

Bob Haro designed the Redline uniforms.

Anything JT. I was not a factory rider so a simple pair JT leathers with my name on the butt was a hot set up. A JT logo jersey would be icing on the cake. A close second would be jeans and a sweatshirt!!!!! If I had to choose a factory uniform, I would say any year JMC.

I always loved the Skyway uniform. Still do..
The early Redline is a classic and the Haro teams always looked very professional.
The SE uniforms are a classic design and will always look good.
I have based a bit of my casual stuff around the SE colors. The BMXA trick team is another cool lookin outfit. Theres an RL jersey on aussie ebay (still!) I know it's real and it's big $$$$$ but it does look cool.

For some reason I couldn't edit my post to add this collage I quickly made up.
Also I'm not sure how, but I forogt one of my fave uniforms the red,yellow black CW that would be top 15 maybe top 10.

Nice choices Racer.....I'm all about David Clinton's Shimano uniform from the Jan-Feb issue of BMXA! Complete with BW leathers no less!

Hutch Factory Team uniform for me was the best hands down. Great helmets and the stars on the sleeves were pretty cool BITD. I know almost every kid at my local track wanted the hutch helmet.....

Diamondback, hands down. 25 years ago they looked like the Mclaren Mercedes formula one pit crew of a few years back.
