Diamondback, hands down. 25 years ago they looked like the Mclaren Mercedes formula one pit crew of a few years back.

Yeah that the best of both worlds, you got me there.

Race Inc
Diamondback
Robinson

BITD if you seen anybody with any of this gear on you knew they were fast.

Where is the love for HUTCH uniforms???????? HUTCH, REDLINE, and SE are hands down the best.............. All mid 80's with a ZERONINE # Plate................

I still have my factory Bandito uniform, not sure what I did with the bikes. (booo)

I would say my faves were:

3. Panda - not sure why, I just always dug 'em.
2. Hutch - come on, complete with those rad Bell helmets.
1. Diamond Back -- hands down the coolest unis, you saw them and you were afraid.

Honorable Mentions -- Murray, Haro, and any of that had BW leathers.

Wow,
You guy's nailed all the good ones, looked thru some OS pics online & have to add a few I'm not sure I saw yet. DG, TW, Scott Clark's BW Rondo uniform, Torker w/ the #1 on the front, SE's red & yellow uni's, Jag's black & yellow w/ BW's. So many classics.

Allways loved the Hutch uniforms as I did the bikes but couldn'r afford them. My fav was my first orange Suzuki worn out nylon jersey I raced with in 81 and 82. Wish I knew where it was today....

I guess I will have to stay loyal on this one. Heres a pic of a SWEET UNI from BITD! And yes, that is a CHROME ECHO FULLFACE HELMET! They were awesome!

the rarely seen and brief lived RONDO(Coke Inc) factory team from 81/82 was very cool. black yellow gold. BW leathers. Premier helmets ...I dunno...but still cool. John Sandberg rider by the way.

I really hit BMX big in 82, so that's the era that made the biggest impression on me. Those Gear leathers really nailed my sense of style too, so pretty much anyone who was using those (Redline, Kuwahara, CW, Profile, even Huffy looked good in those pants). The ones I REALLY dug were the Zeronine's from 86/87, either all white or all black. I HATED Ronnie Anderson, but dammit I wanted to dress like him...

All of my favorites have been mentioned: 1st Mongoose, Panda, Skyway, Shimano (Encinas/Clinton/George era), red/yellow SER, FMF, but Jeff Bottema's DG kit in '76 was the rulingest with the Bicycle Motocross Action blue/yellow outfits trailing right behind. Honorable mention goes to Bob Hannah's "TROUBLE" era gear with the lightning bolts on the Moto III, duckbill visor and DG accents to his Yamaha set up.
