I have a dilema with my current find. The overall condition of the frame is ok but I am not sure that it is a candidate to have re-chromed. So I was thinking that maybe I could have it painted or powdercoated (cost concern as well). I thought that if there is some color choices that the frames came in then maybe I will just shoot it in the garage.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's nickle plated that usually cleans up real easily, if not then you have a pretty good selection to choose from. They came in red, navy blue, medium metallic blue, yellow, black and orange.

For 1978 the "now" colors were red, yellow or blue. They were solid, non-metalic colors-not translucent like then Teams.

and white

I think I am going to go the Blue with Red accents on the bike..... That is the winning combo right now but a clese second is blue (dark) with the silver accents. Decisions decisions....
