And for the low low price of __________, this blue 82 Pro can be all yours.

I don't think I could ever sell my GT. I'm actually looking to buy a GT Cruiser from the same era because my [please review the site FAQs] hurts too much after riding my 20".

I've been reading this board for a couple weeks now and I love seeing all the old bikes and restored bikes. But along the way I had a thought. This GT is MY bike...I mean my ONLY bike. I don't think I could ever have a stable of bikes from which I had to choose. This one feels like 'home.' It was my best friend for years. Riding another bike would be like cheating on her.
Anyone else feel the same way, or should I go see a shrink?

To keep jealousy down from your original, get the family of GT's from that era, all the sizes. As my screen name shows, I am partial to 83 GTs. I have a mini, standard/expert, and a 24. I have had vairous Pro sizes in the past few years as I made the mistake of trading my original 83 GT, along with an early GHP and looptail PK Ripper, for one mountain bike back in '95. I kick myself for that blunder every day.
Just do what feels right. If that's the only bike for you, leave it alone. In this hobby, it's all about what YOU want to do. However, you can get all the opinions you could ever want on a subject.

I wish that I had my 84 GT (pink) yeah that's right pink. I'm sure that some of the NE guys will remember that bike.
