OK, gang, we're heating things up a bit as the mercury climbs.

I am printing 50, limited edition VintageBMX.com "Topic-On-Fire" Tee Shirts.




Start a thread that earns "Topic-On-Fire" status (without getting your self kicked off the board, or severely inflaming your fellow members in the process), and we'll send you one.

The rules:
-Threads started on or after May 20, 2008 are eligible
-A "Topic on Fire" is one that gets 25 posts or more in the first three days it is active.
-Your thread must be nominated to win once it has the required number of posts send to mike(at)vintagebmx.com).
-Promotion runs until 50 shirts are gone.
-We are running 12 each of M,L,XL,XX, (and two XXX)--early winners get to choose
-Threads that feature objectionable, or deliberately inflammatory content will be shut down with no prize given
-One shirt per member, each 30 days.

*Rule Effective 5/31: US Residents only, unless you are willing to pay actual shipping via PayPal.

* Rule effective June 10: The whole point of this promotion is to get members more involved, both in coming up with ideas for good threads, and posting in them. Newly-created threads must have some kind of substance to them, and should not be overly-repetitive. In other words, don't just post a thread that says "I want a shirt," and run up the numbers with posts of smiley faces and other "non-content." Such "Air" threads will be disallowed from the promotion.

My RL20II thread in Freestyle has been going great, but its not on fire - what does it need to do that?

The board software requires 25 posts. The Topic On Fire award is given to threads that get 25 responses in the first three days (note that this says 25 RESPONSES. If your thread has 25 posts, it is not a Topic On Fire until it gets the 26th POST (thus, 25 responses)).

If yours made it, nominate it by sending me a PM.
