I have an 07 Redline Proline ProXL. I am trying to find out what bottom bracket I have, so I can order a sealed bearing BB. And what is a good recomendation for BB's. Thanks again for y'alls help.

If the cups on your bottom bracket are pressed in they are American. If they thread in they are european. The cups are the part that hold the bearings.

2007 Prolines are Euro bb's.

what exactly are you trying to change about it? the stock BB that is in it is already a sealed/cartridge bearing.

dont ask me why, but I was thinking it was a loose ball bearing type blush.gif . LOL

Also, the proline cranks use a 20mm spindle. Kind of a pain in the arse to find a BB for them.

I kind of regret buying this bike now. I still have a cassette problem, and it has been replaced 2 times now. And I can't just get another hub, and have it laced on my whell, because RL went and made thier hub 32 holes. WTH????? So I have to buy a whole new wheel to fix the problem. And now I find if I do want a new BB I will be limited on selection. Bummer. Good thing I am having fun on it though biggrin.gif .

I bought a proline when I first came back to BMX, and it was a nice bike to start on (although it was WAY too small for me.) Don`t regret your decision, just use it to guide you in future choices. As you get more and more involved you`ll have a better feel for what is good for you specifically. I ended up parting out my proline as I got new parts and it pretty much paid for itself (I did buy it used, though).

I got a realy good deal on it, as it was last years model. I am going to just slowly buy parts, and make the frame the only thing I keep. But then again, if I find a great deal on a better frame it's gone to LOL. I definately dont regret my decision, just a little bummed. I built a jump a couple of weeks ago, at my House, and jump it all thime. So it is keeping me entertained for now at least biggrin.gif .

LOL, yeah man!!!!! Hows life treating you over there in Iraq? Only a couple of more months left eh?
Yeah , when you get back, if you and Tuck are going to do that series, I'll run it with you guys. I am going to run my first race when they finaly have one at the ocal track. I guess they are waiting for the season to begin or something. Although they are having a race this weekend, I am not racing it. Its just a small local thing for Mom's day(a little late dontcha think? LOL) .
Where can I get info on the series? On the NBL site?
TTYS brutha. Puerto Rico was the time of my life, hands down. We gotta do it again. Surf was GREAT on the last day.
