I work as a footwear developer for a few Australian/International Brands.... and i am constantly intrigued by different sporting groups and the nature of their footwear.
obviously there are huge differences and technical aspects to many different hobby/sporting groups and their requirement for footwear, but also as a demographic, we tend to notice trends within casual footwear worn by participants of each sport. For example... motorsport athletes tend to go with lower profile, sleeker lines and slimline fits, whereas skateboarders tend to go for more simplistic, chunkier, functional designs
So .. what i'd love... is if you could post up a picture of your favourite pair/s of shoes to kick around home/town/with mates in... and if they are different from the shoes you ride in... chuck up a picture of those too.
No this isnt market research, although building a BMX related shoe would be great... many brands have tried and failed. Stick to what you know... we/I love you VANS.
