junk

I have a set of OG Hutch Pedals and JDB's New Hutch pedals and the new ones are gorgeous!!!!
To all the haters out there: You make it very dfficult for anyone like JDB who cares enough to put out a nice retro product and continue this hobby and sport. I am sure he isnt making millions off it.
I do agree that he should have better communication regarding delays and stock.
Hang in there.

Some people just need to move on if they don't like it (or anything else for that matter). That's the problem with this hobby (and this world). Way too many critic's and hypocrites. Just move along please. smile.gif

Any undates? It has been a long time now. I'm not a hater or lover, just curious to see what is going on.

Pro-size pedals will be back in-stock in 3-4 weeks. I'm just waiting on spindles to arrive. This time I'll also have Mini Bear Trap pedals, and the cages will include a slightly more-rounded point closer to the vintage style so they aren't so sharp. Great for the younger ones who probably shouldn't be clipped-in.

I've also got seat clamps and another batch of Race stems almost ready. The Aerospeeds will be wrapping up soon, and I should be able to have some in-stock for everyone after this first batch gets sent out. I've got multiple batches of arms in various stages of construction. The die-stamp process took a long time, but is the key to making enough of them for everyone.

Frames/forks/bars...ah, yes. Along slow process, but still confident I can bring out something very nice. Like the cranks, it'll be worth the wait.

I've gotten enough interest to proceed with an order to Kashi for seats, so that's on the schedule in a couple/few months. I've also got a couple other surprises that I'll continue to develop.

Cool, sounds good. I hope to see some good things. I may be interested in some Speeds when they are done.

Good Luck.

Any updates John?
Hutch Freak
Wow....It has been a long time. Any news, updates, anything? Is this gonna happen or not? At this rate Japan will be back up and running before HUTCH. I'm not bagging on John, but what is up?
John De Bruin
Race frame designs are finished, and I hope to have the first 3 prototypes in about 45 days. Testing will follow, and if all of my requested details turn out as I expect, we'll see a first batch production order to follow. I'm keeping the design under wraps until we get to that point, but the best way to describe it would be an extension, or next-gen, of what we all know and love for Hutch style, updated to today's geometry and technology. The 20" Race frames are designed for the track, not the carpet (although they will also be something you'd rather park in your living room rather than the garage). cool.gif

Hey John,

Are the frames being made in the USA?
John De Bruin

Frames will be made in both Taiwan and USA, similar to the dual-line concept that Hutch had in the 1980's as well.

Sure does! LOL!
ANT DOG 3:16
it's fixed now aww too bad hahahaha
John De Bruin
I did not see it, but I just got the message from my host saying it was a widespread network defacing attack.

Glad to know that you guys were checking the site so often though. Thanks! happy.gif

So by your timeframes quoted in September John, you should be testing and maybe close to a first production order? Any updates?

Unfortunately, I have put my ordering on hold until more 'substantial' parts becomes available. I hope more come out soon.
