Hi guys...
I just acquired some Hutch forks and just wanted to get some opinions on exactly what they were.

They're race forks... possibly from a Pro Racer? Possibly early?
I know they're Not Pro Raider forks because of the crown shape, end caps, and welds.
but I'm not sure what bike they may have come from.

The dropouts aren't too thick, which makes me think they could be a little earlier.
I've seen some super thick dropouts on later Pro Racers (and trick stars) before.
But I really don't know.

I'm obviously more familiar with the Freestyle stuff than Race.
Figured I'd ask the experts.

Thanks for your opinions, Take a look smile.gif

I'm not looking to sell them, or throw them on ebay or anything.
I'm very happy to have them in my collection.

I just want to know what they are.

(just figured I'd mention that - since the site keeps getting bombarded with people baiting for info so they can sell them and sound more educated)

Thanks for the informative link Wild Zebra.

That's a great page.

Yep - it Does have vent holes in the bottom.
Looks like most of the forks do have the vent holes too.
I guess my forks look closest to the American Pro Racer / Expert forks.

Definitely not Raider or import. Probably American Pro Racer forks, when they had serials. Unless those STARTED undrilled...

I second that! That hole does not look factory.

they look like Thruster-made era ('82-83). yes, that hole was drilled afterwards.
