I need your opinion.

I have a pretty significant bike that I intend to show as is, uncleaned, untuned, and just as I got it. I just haven't had time to clean it up and I thought I might just show it w/ a photo board depicting it's better days.

Is this OK in your opinion, or should I not bring it? Let me know your thoughts.

In the coming months, I do intend to clean and polish it up. I do not intend to restore it.

Bikes do not need to be sparkling like a diamond to be appriciated.

Show it as is, clean her up later and show her again!

Take a pic and show us her in all of her glory.

Show it as is! Most definately! Like ssmith mentioned! I remember the mongoose most definately. I can't really remember all the other restored bikes to tell you the truth.

"As Raced"? Sure, sounds good to me, I'd like to see it. Just as long as it doesn't look neglected, typical grime build up is OK with me.

I say do it! some of my best bikes are the ones I've just cleaned up and did not restore. cool.gif

For example.

I mean really! If someone in this hobby can't get into a good original example of a bike they should be checked for a pulse! laugh.gif
