Full Version: The Wheel Deal...

The thread about favorite wheels really inspired this, but I spent a lot of time taking these photos so I decided to start anew...

Weinmann 2.125 rims, 105 Gauge spokes, Shimano hi-flange hub, Littlejohn girder fork, Cheng Shin tire. Pure moto.

Araya 7b, Campy hi-flange hub, Cheng Shin 2.125 tire, Two Wheelers Super Stroker frame.

Weinmann 1.75 rim, with a Bendix Red Stripe hub (Red Baron said they were the smoothest in Super BMX).

MX60 mag with sealed front hub. One of my favorites.

Silver 7bs are one of God's gifts to BMX. They are truly works of art. Laced into a Campagnolo front hub, it is an unbeatable combination in my book.

This one is more about the combination. Super Pro rim, Dia-Compe calipers, Mathauser brake pads, Cheng Shin 1.75 knobby, Two Wheelers Super Pro frame. This set up speaks chapters for my obsession with Bicycle Motocross Action.

A simple Suntour hub and Araya 7c combo, buffed to perfection by Jeff Venekamp, bolted into an RRS fork. You got one?

Sweets for the sweet. The only real "mags", Webcos on a Webco. Banana seat struts confuse the abuse.

Wow! Nice pics. I lve all those wheel combos. We never had Webco mags down here but they are very cool looking.
The first pic is where it all started for me.

Great Scot!

We need a thread "longest spinning wheel". I like your spinning photo the best.

Wow, I don't know what it is, but that 7B/Redline picture, just screams old school coolness to me. Just that picture alone inspires me to want to build a bike from this era.
