Full Version: I built a bike around a pad set.

I saw these pads on ebay a few months ago, and I immediately knew I wanted them, just to built my last bike around......

Needless to say, I think it turned out pretty damn nice. It may very well be the last bike I build. I have finally built all the ones I have wanted to.....

I bought the frame and fork awhile ago. The frame has some dings on the bottom of the BB shell and the head tube. The head tube decal covered those dings, and you cannot see the other ones. The rest of the chrome on here was just too nice to do over, so after consulting with Pep, I didn't. I ended up having the forks, bars, stem and cranks all rechromed. THANKS PEP!

Its really the first time I have ever had anything rechromed- I just have never really gone that route, but I am really happy I did with this one. Here it is with its brother.....

I have a set of Tommy Brackens grips. Can anyone help me get started building a bike around those?

Nice bike though for sure.

glad to help. It looks awesome. I could not bring myself to re-do it. them cranks were brutal & pitted. SEracingman hooked that problem up. So big ups to him also
