I am going to build a pink Hutch, and wanted some opinions on the stickers? I bought a white w/ black letter pad set, and the bike is going to be, pink, white, & silver. Should I have the stickers on the frame black or white? Is one more genuine than the other? Probably going to be a pro raider or racer.

While I'm typically a fan of white accents....

Pink Trick Stars I've seen look best with black lettering....
nice contrast - since Hutch pink is so light / pale.

I think I will go with the black stickers, I like the contrast.

Any opinions on tires? White or Black. Its going to be girls bike.

if I had a pink hutch I'd put the stickers over my eyes, probably black

the black do make it look very nice and it stands out a bit more. but white would be correct.. i had both but sold the black decal one..

definitely the white decals, they look much more proper on the frame.

White for sure, but Gray components would look sweet.

KHE Tires (not old, but they are white, no sense in wrecking old tires)

Still need Hutch fork, & white Uni Turbo seat. Shooting for less than 20 pounds.

i dont think 901 brake will work on the rear, and for the front it will not take the potts mod cable.. also i would go with whatever color decals you like best dont go on what everyone els likes.. i do like mine with white better thats what they would have came with..

Update, I finally picked up a uni seat (lavender), and was super close to getting a pink hollywood frame on ebay, rather than powdercoating a chrome frame. Would hve been nice to get a real one instead of making one.
So, just need a fork now, theres 3 on the bay, pricey though.

anyway IMO white decals for sure, and i had started palnning Pink & Blue colour scheme....

Click to view attachmentThis is an expert racer with pro raider forks painted by C4. Everything is (or should be) period correct, except the tires are modern KHEs, chain is KMC superlite, and the brakes (990s) use a tektro plate.

I had a purple Hollywood back in the day... It actually had some of both colors. I know for sure the downtube had white stickers. There were definitely black stickers on it too... just don't remember which ones.

Hunt around for some pics... They might give you ideas.

I checked the old frames, it should be right the way I have it. Its all done so, its staying now. Best part is, my daughter enjoys riding it, she has an 08 redline jr but she says its too jittery (skinny tires).

Here's my Purple reign it has the white with black shadows. I'm sure they were different at times, but all the Purple Hollywoods I've seen have this scheme.

That's how I remember mine... so what's the disposition of yours??

Well I just thought someone said all white stickers not the white with black shadows, thats all. Sorry for the confusion. Or do you mean something else by disposition?? I reckon the current disposition is, waiting to lace up some wheels need a black chainring and a DK 1st gen clamp and thats it. Man it's been a while I wanted this done by the last week of june, still might happen.

Those sticker are the same ones my Hollywood had, purple bike and all. Sadly mine took a walk

I've seen the all white ones on ebay, but anyone sell the white ones with the black shadows?
